BSEians are always proud to display their philanthropic nature for those who are less fortunate than them. It is our value of Compassion and their love for others that drives them to accomplish a benevolent characteristic.

Through the Subject of Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) BSEians are empowered to discuss, demonstrate and practice virtues of care, empathy and love for those within the school community and beyond. Examples of this are practiced during Eid El Adha BSEians unite to decorate and fill Eid hampers for less fortunate members of the community, thanking them for their service and help. During Christmas, BSEians send gifts to one another in the spirit of the New Year. The Shoe Box Appeal, which was established a few years ago during this festive time of year displayed BSEians sense of generosity for children in need.

Every year BSEians raise money for a charitable cause, through their annual Compassion Appeal. In the past they have raised money for schools in Egypt, communities building schools and even animals. It is BSEians who decide the charitable cause and they are the ones who raise and surpass the fundraising target.

All members of our community, staff, parents and pupils unite in the name of The BSE to express kindness, humility, generosity and care for one other and others in Egypt and the world at large.
